Find a weight loss program that fits your lifestyle, that is designed for you and your needs. If a program doesn’t include fitness, it’s probably not something you want to participate in. If a program cuts out a complete food group, it cannot be sustained long term and you’ll lose the motivation you need to find a lifetime of weight control success.

Remember, if you want to lose weight, there are people everywhere who want to help you. Find someone, a mentor or a friend, who will keep you going and on track.

And here’s the best tip of all. Don’t go on a diet, change the way you eat. Dieting leads to failure and is one of the biggest things that crush your motivation. Once you can wrap your mind around the fact that you control food, not the other way around, you can become your own motivating factor.
