Build Muscle: The 7 Mental Secrets For Super Fast Growth

Achieving insane muscle gain is not a walk in the park.

If you plan to see major strength improvements and insane muscle gain, you’re going to have to work hard for it.

This is one of the biggest reasons why most people don’t see the insane muscle gain they desire; they just plain don’t train hard enough. And why not? There is a reason for it….

It’s intense. It’s not comfortable. It hurts like hell.

Work through it my friend, because the only way to achieve insane muscle gain is to move past that natural pain and learn to deal with it.

With a little practice, you can learn to trick you mind to ignore those uncomfortable feelings and realize the insane muscle gain you are fighting for. Consider utilizing the following techniques and you will be surprised at what you can achieve….

1) Life-Threatening Situations

Just when you think you can’t go any further, imagine someone you love is trapped under a heavy weight and it’s up to you to save them by lifting it. Example: while doing chin-ups you can pretend that you are actually dangling from a cliff, or when deadlifting you can imagine that you are lifting a car off of someone.

2) Magnetic Force

Use the force – envision the weights as magnets being pulled the opposite way. When you’re doing a bench press, think of the ceiling as a magnet powerfully drawing the bar upward.

3) Envision Your Muscles

The purpose behind working out is to break down those muscle fibers to encourage your body to adapt and grow. To stay motivated, picture what is happening in your muscle tissue as you execute your set. Picture the way the fibers will tear and fill up with blood and nutrients, resulting in insane muscle gain.

4) Have Someone Watch You

This is not for you to have a spotter; it’s for you to be accountable. When we get our ego involved we’ll always go that extra mile to impress.

5) Positive/Negative Force

When it comes to pushing exercises, imagine pushing something or someone bad away from your body. Imagine anything for this exercise, including feelings, material objects and people. Do the opposite for pulling exercises and draw in something positive. Consider pulling in money, a positive emotion or a person you are crazy about.

6) Set Ridiculous Goals

If your goal is to perform 9 reps, increase that to 100 instead. Do everything you can to truly believe that you’ll get 100. When you start to lift, convince yourself you will not stop until you reach 100 reps.

7) Close Your Eyes

Only try this for the mechanically simple exercises that don’t require a spotter. Avoid exercises like squatting or deadlifting when trying this out. During simple exercises, keep your eyes closed. This way you’ll have no distractions and will only focus on the actual task at hand.

To get insane muscle gain, you have to train to failure or very close to it. When you’re about to hit failure, imagine that your pain belongs to someone you hate. With every push, they take on more of your pain. This might seem like a “cold” technique, but the bottom line is that it works.
