Best Toenail Fungus Treatment Revealed:

Discover How I used ZetaClear to Treat My 22 Year Nail Fungus Problem

Understanding Nail Fungus

Fungal infections of the nail occur when your nails have been exposed through direct trauma to the nail or the surrounding skin. The infection may begin as a white or yellow spot under the tip of the nail and then spread deeper into the nail as the fungus sets up house in the soft tissue of your nail bed. As the nail fungus spreads deeper into your nail, it may cause your nail to discolor, thicken and develop crumbling edges - an unsightly and potentially painful problem. These infections usually develop on nails continually exposed to warm, moist environments, such as sweaty shoes or shower floors. Nail fungus isn't the same as athlete's foot, which primarily affects the skin of the feet, but at times the two may coexist and can be caused by the same type of fungus. An infection with nail fungus may be difficult to treat, and infections may recur. But treatments are available to fight the infection.

There are two main types of treatment available to combat nail fungus. Alternative topical treatments such as ZetaClear and doctor prescribed oral medications.

The doctor prescribed oral medications have potential serious side effects such as liver damage. I have never used the doctor prescribed method, but my father in law took a doctor prescribed oral medication (name omitted due to copyright) and his nail fungus was cured…temporarily. He took the medication for 6 long months only to find the nail fungus back three months after he completed the treatment. It didn’t work and he had stomach pain during the course of treatment. I chose the alternative topical method and have had great success with it.

Get The Most Out of Your Nail Fungus Treatment

Here’s a list of tools that you can use to get the most out of your nail fungus topical treatment and increase your chance of success. I’ll also provide step by step directions on what product to use and how to prepare your nails prior to using the product.

Nail Clippers - Buy industrial strength because your nails will be difficult to cut when they thicken. Two pair of clippers is a must. Use one pair for nails affected by the fungus and another pair to use on toes that aren’t infected. This will help stop the spread of fungus from nail to nail.

Ingrown Toenail File - This little tool is particularly handy for getting under the corners of the affected toenail. It’s also good for clearing keratin debris from under the nail.

Metal Nail File - Another tool effective for prying under thickened nails and clearing keratin debris.

Disposable Emery Boards -  You’ll use these to keep the nail filed down.  The topical has a greater chance of penetrating the nail for maximum effectiveness if the infected nail is very thin.

Disposable Latex Gloves -  (Or vinyl if you’re allergic to latex).  Use these to make sure toenail fungus doesn’t get on your fingernails!

Prevention -   Keep Nail Fungus From Spreading and Reoccurring

1.

Wash socks in hot water with a small amount of color safe bleach to kill fungal residue hiding in your socks.

2.

Spray your tub or shower after each use with a product that kills fungus.

3.

Spray shoes with an anti-fungal spray after each use (Even sandals)

4.

Alternate shoe wear. Don’t wear the same pair of shoes every day. This allows the pair you aren’t wearing to dry properly.

5.

Dry nails (especially toenails) thoroughly after showering. Use a hair dryer if necessary.

6.

Use separate nail clippers for your infected nails. Do NOT use them on your good nails or you will increase the chance of infecting them as well!

7.

Air those toenails out frequently and for as long a period as possible. For example, when you get home from work remove your socks and shoes and walk around barefoot.

8.

Your best bet is just to use good common sense. Understand that fungus grows in damp, dark places and that it can spread easily. Do everything you can to prevent that from happening

9.

Do not use nail polish. This traps fungus under the nail and doesn’t allow the nail to breathe.

10.

Use moisture wicking synthetic socks. Remember your goal here is to keep your toenails as dry as possible to prevent the growth of the fungus.

Best Toenail Fungus Treatment

Zeta Clear ZetaClear  -  This is the topical anti-fungal concoction that worked for me.  I've tried others and failed, but this one worked great!

Here’s exactly how I used the product and the procedure that I performed to prepare the nail prior to each application of ZetaClear.

1.

Sterilize all nail tools with isopropyl alcohol prior to each use. Weekly I boil the nail tools to make sure I kill all of the fungus.

2.

Put on your disposable latex gloves

3.

Make sure your work area is well lighted. I used a telescoping grill light so that I could angle the bright light exactly where I needed it.

4.

Trim and file nail to minimum thinness. (You don’t want to puncture the nail. Keep it intact, just very thin) Use the disposable emery boards to do the filing. This may take a while, so be patient. It’s a very important step though, so don’t skip it.

5.

Use a metal nail file to remove any built up keratin debris from under the nail. My nail never detached so this was sometimes difficult and caused some discomfort. (It’s important to get theZetaClear under the nail and on top of the nail.)

6.

Apply theZetaClear as directed. May sure you follow the recommended schedule and don’t deviate. If you skip then you run the risk of the treatment being unsuccessful.

7.

Clean and sterilize all of the metal tools you’ve used. Throw away the disposable ones. Don’t reuse these!

They seem to be a legitimate, honest company. I never had any problems with my order and received it in a few days.

They also have a 30 day money back guarantee…although I didn’t have to use it. I started seeing results after a few weeks of using the product.

I hope that this helps you win the fight against nail fungus. It's a tough battle, but now you have a plan to succeed!

Sincerely,

Nick Matthews
